I very much enjoy these lights! They are very usefull into getting drivers' attention. The only fault about them is they are not impact-proof. FYI: don't ride on the ice on roads because there is a chance of falling and then breaking the lights! Trust me I did that and they busted and so now I'm re-ordering them! They are still very good lights!! Originally Posted on March 24, 2013

I can't think of a reason not to use these lights., 11.7.20115 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5

If you bike at night, there is nothing on the market as effective as these lights. Get them. These are VERY effective lights for warning traffic approaching from behind when mounted rear-facing. They are large and bright. People forget that size matters when it comes to warning lights - bigger is better. Small blinkies cannot compare w these. I use these for commuting and have a pair mounted high on my left and right seat-stays, just clear of my heel on the upstroke. The switch is mounted on the seat tube just below the top tube for easy reach. I have noticed that cars tend to give me an additional foot or two when passing (i have a white and red flashing in back). This does mean i need to be careful locking up my bike next to others or throwing it in the back of the car - the mounting brackets are robust but not up to constant abuse. As a side note: Police Bike Store has exceptional customer service - i highly recommend dealing with them. Originally Posted on Nov 7, 2011

Very effective light., 9.18.20104 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5

I have a single red rear facing strobe, and am very happy with the light in general. Power comes from two AA batteries that fit under the red cover of the light itself. Mounting to the bike frame was easy and they give you options for attaching the light to back packs, clothing, etc. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the switch. There is no sense of a definite on/off ""click"" and it is a little larger than I would expect, making it very noticeable on the frame. Other than that, I find this to be a superior light.
